Calums solo career got of to a great start in 2016 with performances at Speyfest, Belladrum, The Speyside Whisky Festival and XPO North live.
2017 has seen a return to all of these and more -Eden, Killin, March Into Pitlochry, Jocktoberfest & Northern Roots festivals, regular gigs at pubs and events throughout Moray North East Scotland and beyond and massive performances at The YPI National Event @ Perth Concert Hall in May and The Music For Youth Frequencies Showcase @ SWG3 Glasgow in June.
At just 13 Calum began performing original material at his local open mic, since then he's gone from strength to strength, writing more and more songs, performing at more and more events and developing his own unique style along the way.
He has had many great experiences but the highlight of his musical career so far has been performing 500 Miles in front of 5000 + people in the Royal Albert Hall, London.
Calum also performs with Footerin' Aboot, The Strathspey Fiddlers, Milnes Jazz Band, Moray Swing Band & Fochabers Fiddlers.
We met Calum when he played impromptu on our stage at Belladrum Festival.
WE think he is a rising star of Scottish Commentary Folk Music
