Born in Memphis, TN, the son of a New Christy Minstrel, Mike has had the songwriting bug for years and finally released his first album, Waterfall, in September of 2017 which was recorded at the Songwriter's Studio in Knoxville, TN. Mike has been playing guitar since he was in his teens and although he is influenced by many artists and genres, James Taylor would be the most influential in his life, along with Dan Fogelberg, David Wilcox, Amy Grant, Rich Mullins, Joni Mitchell and the list goes on. He's been playing for the Dan Krikorian Band the last 10 years. Mike has been married 30+ years with 3 grown kids and lives in Southern California. Prior to spending more time writing and playing, Mike was an Animal Control Officer in Southern California for 24 years.

We met Michael at the Cedarege Apple Fest he played a blistering set on The Moose Mobile Stage for us and it was the start of what we know will be a very fruitful association. This inclusion is spellbinding and the first step in bringing him our way in 2019.
